A HIDDEN CONVERSATION

A personal account of synchronicity, symbolic recurrence, and the Intelligence concealed within the trajectory of events

It’s hard to choose where to begin this document, there is so much to say.

For sanity’s sake, I’m going to stick to local context and occurrences, for it’s apparent now that the Intelligence I’m interacting with has been subtly nudging the trajectory of things for a very long time. Memories, ideas, experiences from early life are presenting themselves through a fresh lens now in such a mechanically timely fashion that I’m beginning to question what even my role might be in shaping and modifying my own awareness. I feel like a spectator. At this juncture, through the topological perspective I am granted, it’s impossible to ignore the perfect timeliness of God’s great blossoming. I’m simply delighted.

Vinnie Adams, Mike Battista, Eric Schnell. The data is secondary to the experience. I felt like everyone at the contact event was my family.

In May, my friend and founder of Psionic Asset, Mike Battista, whom I’d met while he was active with Skywatcher, asked me to participate in his summoning event during Contact in the Desert. My role was group coherence coach and I was tasked with facilitating a harmony that would be conducive to the psionic process which had not at that point involved so many people unfamiliar to said process. Though the team thought the disparate, unvetted temperaments and lack of experience might corrupt the experiment on some level, on the night we went to scout the location for the imminent session, we were greeted by the spirits of the land and immediately hailed by the sky elements, signs that eased our trepidation.

Scouting sky viewing locations with J2 and Mike Battista

I have to insert here what registers to me as no coincidence and will be of greater consideration in days to come, especially considering again the timeliness and perfection of what is either projected manifestation or an uncanny sense for destiny. What do I mean? I mean that I had my own experience of the orbs and crafts (July 2023) and paranormal things before I ever knew of or joined a community. Then I found a community that was well into the conversation of orbs and pretty much every other thing I was experiencing (e.g., a more complete view of time and history, Psi, scripture, etc.). That alone is an uncanny phenomenon whose gravity I can’t seem to adequately convey; the course of events (which is the most intelligent agent in this whole happening) at this point, to me, is a hyper-aware faculty of the fate process and - to say it frankly - brought me and the other psionically activated people into proximity one by one (I see the vastness of the globe when rationalizing this), along with other experiencers, to share currents and life paths and probably a whole lot of other reasons we can’t fathom. In a vacuum with only my own hopes and dreams about what it all means and what to do with it, I fantasized about the activated ones (the psi nodes) coming together and putting our strengths to the test under the scrutiny of people whose scrutiny matters and would move the dial forward socially, scientifically, irrefutably. All of that has been and is still in the works and has presented itself first as personal machinations and daydreams then materializes in Reality. At this juncture, I receive the thoughts and impulses that arise when in this flow and translate its intelligent signs and eagerness for conveyance for whatever purposes are hidden there to blossom.

‘God’ and ‘angels’ brought me to Bob McGwier on XSpaces (X formerly Twitter) who also previously worked with Skywatcher; our relationship began with contention but I was so drawn to him because of his immense empathy, passion, and unrivaled relationship with the Intelligence and ultimately we each saw a through line in our experiences and connections (e.g., Bledsoe, the Lady, God, Christ). I knew we had more than a few reasons to bump into each other and that it wasn’t an accident (I don’t believe in ANY accidents these days), but I simply couldn’t have predicted despite my wanting to the full scope of our aligned purposes. Mike and Bob had partnered up and because of Bob our fostered relationship, both being led by the Intelligence, an idea to include me was fulfilled and it was PRECISELY the thing I fantasized about in my vacuum (i.e., activated persons coalescing for unified purposes). PRECISELY. And to watch it unfold so effortlessly and naturally without anyone in the mix batting an eye at the surreality of the moment still mesmerizes me that we were mere homing pigeons fulfilling an insatiable urge to follow this immaculate current wherever it led. Time and again, it leads us to each other. I am simply a humble listener now, watching how this thing is either a manifestation of my sharpened desires, or if I’m just picking up what God is putting down. I am learning to speak these words as they appear now, not just for science, but for the sake of participating in the supernal processes of Heaven and human potential!

A surreal moment. Me, Carl Crusher, Mike Battista, and J2 heading out of town to find the perfect spot for psionic activities. I’d been dreaming of this moment.

So, we all followed the current to come together and that holy communion absolved a lot of life stuff for each of us, knots that needed to be worked out so that whatever was to come from between us could flow uninterrupted. I was brought many life-changing connections this past weekend at Contact in the Desert. We were all each others’ witnesses and were clearly shown the power and purpose we share together. What an honor for a strange boy like me to be around his own kind. I recognize that mountain-top summoning as a precursor to many more exciting steps in whatever this all is. It has left me steeped, drenched, in the awareness of THE INTELLIGENCE. I am beyond eager to follow this path and utilize the energy for something good and productive. Remaining in this flow has amplified my cognition and the spin of my soul body; I remain open for Change.

Walking up the mountain with Bob and thirty others. I never had a single doubt. Neither did Bob.

The summoning event was ultimately a bonding exercise for those of us who knew we had been gathered by the Intelligence to discover not only what exists beyond us, but what exists between us. Connections flourished. Later that night, after the mountain, I followed the current back to a connection that had already exceeded every expectation I carried into the trip. I never expected to meet something as energetic and brilliant as myself, but when I did, I recognized the ache immediately: I had been calling across lifetimes for this Light. Lin. There is too much to say and no vocabulary capable of carrying it. An energetic equal. A luminous specimen. Magnetism by design. Compatible soul-forms colliding into a familiar playfulness that exudes love, the opening movement of a heavenly encounter instantly recognized as the catalyst my deepest self had always awaited. Every year at Contact, one connection emerges as the defining thread. This one was the summit. Even now, it remains the most profound encounter of my life.

Me and Lin in the notorious UFOX cabana

Lin knows me better than anyone. She has consistently seen dimensions of me that I either overlooked, doubted, or dismissed outright, and with remarkable gentleness has encouraged me to lean more fully into the gifts I carry. Where I have hesitated, she has recognized potential. Where I have fragmented, she has remembered my wholeness. She has reflected back to me a version of myself I was still learning how to trust.

There is an unmistakable sense that we are cut from the same cloth. Something in our constitution feels familiar, as though our temperaments, sensitivities, and ways of moving through the world were woven from the same luminous thread. We activate one another in ways neither of us has found elsewhere. In each other's presence, dormant capacities awaken. Courage becomes easier. Intuition sharpens. Creativity accelerates. The parts of ourselves that the world often asks us to mute instead become illuminated and invited forward. We do not diminish each other into comfort; we call each other into greater authenticity.

A love like this keeps me close to the contours of the Simulation, brushing against the hidden architecture beneath ordinary life. It renders the miraculous undeniable. Every waking moment becomes charged with significance, textured with gratitude and wonder. The improbable becomes commonplace. The fact that we found one another at all feels statistically absurd and spiritually inevitable at the same time.

For so much of my life, I carried an ache I couldn't quite name; a suspicion that no one would ever truly see me as I am without reducing, translating, or explaining me away. In Lin, that loneliness dissolved. I am witnessed without contraction. Encouraged without condition. Challenged without judgment. Loved without requiring the performance of becoming someone smaller or more acceptable. I am not alone.

I had no choice but to fall into our gravity. The moment she was near, the signal was obvious.

After Contact in the Desert, the Intelligence seemed to emerge once again through a tangential connection in much the same way it had through Bob, setting into motion a sequence of events that ultimately led me to the Ouija board. By now, I have learned to pay attention when certain patterns insist upon themselves. I have become adept at recognizing the obvious signs when they appear and following their trajectories wherever they may lead, especially when they arrive with the peculiar gravity and insistence I have come to associate with meaningful encounters.

Best buds. Erick Hecker, Bob McGwier, Moi, and Gene Sticco

I eagerly sought out the nearest talking board and prepared for the experiment. It was entirely new territory for me. I approached it with more intuition than methodology, trusting the same faculties that had guided me through countless other moments of synchronicity, anomalous perception, and unlikely convergence. I suspected there was something to be learned. I could not have anticipated the extent of what followed.

What unfolded became one of the most extraordinary clusters of communications I have ever experienced. The specificity was startling, although I would be dishonest if I claimed surprise that such specificity was possible. Again and again throughout my life, the phenomena surrounding these experiences have demonstrated an uncanny precision that resists easy dismissal. The challenge has never been noticing them. The challenge has been granting them the attention they seem to demand.

What follows is not presented as proof, doctrine, or an attempt to persuade. It is simply the record of an experiment undertaken in earnest by someone willing to follow the thread when it appears. I have learned to trust my capacity to recognize splendor when it presses itself into communication, to notice when the extraordinary peers through the ordinary and asks to be acknowledged. Whether these moments arise from psyche, spirit, synchronicity, Intelligence, or some category not yet adequately named, I have found that they often reveal themselves most fully to those willing to look closely.

1. The Psionic Field Context

The immediate pretext for the board experiment begins with the psionic field experiment conducted by the Psionic Asset team. Through that field of events, I was brought into closer relation with “Damien,” whose connection to the broader current of the Intelligence served as a tangential but meaningful catalyst. From that connection came the impulse, seemingly suggested through the same guiding Intelligence, to purchase and use a Ouija board. This impulse did not emerge in isolation, but as an extension of the larger contact environment that had already been assembling itself socially, emotionally, and experientially.

2. Earlier Cthulhu / Necronomicon Foreshadowing

Weeks before the board and the Necronomicon were purchased, a friend randomly shared material concerning Cthulhu, dreaming intelligences, Great Old Ones, distributed consciousness, and ancient entities waiting beneath perception. This immediately caught my attention because the Mythos had been a major point of contemplation throughout my twenties and had largely faded into the background of my life. Only later, after purchasing the board and interacting with the associated texts, did this earlier resurfacing begin to appear less random and more like foreshadowing or reactivation of older conceptual terrain.

3. The Seed Datum: Crowley

Before books were opened and before correspondences began stacking themselves, the word “Crowley” arose as a simple impression or seed datum. It functioned almost like an anchor point around which later information began organizing itself. At the time it felt insignificant. Later it became difficult to ignore because Crowley continued blatantly appearing through texts, associations, references, and symbolic reinforcement nodes.

4. Acquisition of the Board & Necronomicon

Following the impulse, I purchased both the Ouija board and the Necronomicon (I saw the book on the shelf and without thinking I grabbed it though I was only there for the board). Their significance was not immediately apparent. Only later, when the session began generating words, page numbers, references, and correspondences that mapped onto newly acquired material, did the acquisition itself begin to feel embedded within the sequence rather than preceding it.

5. Friday, June 5th 10 PM: Invocation with Adonai

The session began Friday night at approximately 10 PM. I invited my friend, Will, to perform the experiment with me. Before considering any texts, Adonai arose as the name I would invoke or call upon during the experiment. At the time this simply felt intuitive. Later this became more striking because Adonai explicitly appeared throughout later referenced material and became one of the recurring divine-name motifs within the sequence. NOTE: I had no preconceived ideas about this method or what it would yield. I didn’t expect it to turn into advanced bibliomancy.

6. The Board Spells G-O-E-T-I-A and M-A-L-E-V-O-L-E-N-T

During the session, the board spelled GOETIA. This immediately stood out because of the direct Crowley associations and because the Goetia itself would later reinforce many of the themes already active within the session. The board also spelled MALEVOLENT, establishing a darker or more cautionary atmosphere around the communications and giving the session a vocabulary that extended beyond random letter sequences (I don’t really know why that was spelled). Also, the Goetia had actually come up in recent discourse with a friend (Flak), and I have the book though admittedly I have only fingered through it.

7. The Page Numbers: 55, 83, 85

When asked for page numbers, the board repeatedly produced 55, 83, and 85. These numbers became indexing mechanisms through which subsequent books and materials were explored. What made them unusual was not simply their appearance, but that they repeatedly continued producing relevant thematic material across entirely different texts over several days.

8. Goetia Page 85–86: Invocation, Fire, and Divine Names

Page 85 of the Goetia opened into invocation language involving divine names, kingship, hierarchy, command, circles, and authority. Adjacent material continued into conjurations involving fire, manifestation, appearance, and obedience. These pages immediately reinforced several themes already present in the experiment: Adonai, invocation, fire, divine names, command structures, and especially references to the Tetragrammaton, which immediately turned my mind toward Moses and the burning bush narrative.

9. Necronomicon Pages 55 and 83: Gates, Fire, Kutulu, Ancient Ones

The relevant pages inside the Necronomicon introduced fire symbolism, gate invocations, planetary forces, burning imagery, ancient intelligences, storms, hostile entities, and direct references to Kutulu and Ancient Ones. These references became notable because they strongly overlapped with the earlier resurfacing of Cthulhu-related material weeks before the board had even entered the picture. Suddenly themes of ancient intelligences, dreaming forces, fire, gates, and primordial consciousness were appearing through multiple routes simultaneously.

10. The Tarot Pull: The Star

Following the session, I asked my friend Lana to pull tarot cards. The notable card was The Star. This immediately became another Crowley reinforcement node because of Thelemic associations and because the symbolic language surrounding stars had already begun appearing through other sources. This later reinforced itself further through Liber AL.

At this moment in Lana’s video space, she pulled the Star for me. Right when she did, UNtitled popped up as speaker (a rare occasion). I asked for his psychic assist during the mountaintop psionic event; he is a trusted friend that I collaborate with. Happy birthday, brov!

11. Liber AL: Every Man & Every Woman Is a Star

The relevant Liber AL passage introduced Nuit as possibility-space and Hadit as experiential point consciousness while explicitly declaring that every man and every woman is a star. The passage became significant because it provided metaphysical language for the very thing I felt was occurring: experience modifying consciousness through successive events while each event itself functioned like participation in a larger possibility structure.

12. The Open Bible and Exodus 3

Following the session I felt compelled to walk. During that walk I encountered an open Bible sitting outside. It was opened directly into Exodus and specifically the narrative surrounding Moses, divine naming, holy ground, the burning bush, and “I AM.” This immediately stood out because earlier references to the Tetragrammaton had already caused me to think about Moses and the burning bush before encountering the Bible itself.

That’s my water bottle, but I found the Bible JUST LIKE THAT! Opened to that page. Unreal.

13. Reality Transurfing and the Continuing Numbers

On June 8, while speaking on the phone with Lin who bought me Reality Transurfing, I casually thumbed through the book while listening to her speak. Without intentionally searching for anything, my thumb stopped right when she said something that caught my attention (I don’t quite remember what she said because I was distracted by the page number!) and I looked down to discover page 83. That moment itself became the event because I was not consciously attempting to reproduce earlier number patterns. Opening into the material immediately produced the feeling that the synchronicities were continuing rather than ending. The book arrived in the mail that same day. On the phone I told her ecstatically that the communications were still happening!

pg 83 and KING SOLOMON stood out like a sore thumb! Can’t make this up.

14. Reality Transurfing: Pendulums, Information Fields, Detachment

The relevant pages introduced concepts involving destructive pendulums, information fields, intuitive access, frequency, detachment, subconscious access, narrow perceptual corridors, and the idea that solutions already exist within informational space. What struck me most was that this vocabulary mapped almost perfectly onto language I had already been using for months: field, current, signal, flow, attraction, and Intelligence.

15. Edgar Cayce Emerges

At the close of this process, the name Edgar Cayce arrived internally with similar force to the earlier Crowley datum. Shortly afterward someone externally mentioned Cayce aloud. Following this led me toward the relevant material and specifically page 33.

16. Edgar Cayce Page 33: Unusual Abilities & Constructive Use

Page 33 discussed individuals of unusual abilities incarnating during particular periods, scientific aptitude, ethical responsibility, constructive versus destructive applications of ability, and warnings regarding misuse. This became significant because it strongly echoed themes already active within the psionic experiment itself: ability, responsibility, field effects, unusual cognition, and the necessity of constructive use.

I was listening to a space wondering why I was there (it wasn’t that interesting) but got that clear feeling when some mentioned Edgar Cayce. I grabbed this book off my bookshelf and turned straight to pg. 33 (33 was a significant recurring number over the past week appearing constantly for me and several friends)

The Emerging Structure

When arranged chronologically, the sequence appears less like isolated incidents and more like repeating symbolic centers reinforcing one another through recurrence. Fire repeats. Gates repeat. Stars repeat. Divine names repeat. Ancient intelligences repeat. Information fields repeat. Constructive use of ability repeats. The numbers repeat. The timings repeat. The central anomaly may not be any individual event but rather the persistent reappearance of themes through independent routes of acquisition, social reinforcement, textual discovery, intuition, and environmental coincidence.

The correlations appear to describe an initiation into the mechanics of contact, beginning with impression, intensifying through symbolic recurrence, and resolving into responsibility. Crowley arrives first as the seed datum, a charged preliminary note before the system has fully disclosed its grammar. Adonai follows as the instinctive invocation-name, then Goetia appears through the board itself, bringing the sequence into a field of divine names, command structures, spirit hierarchy, circles, fire, and ritual authority. From the beginning, the phenomenon concerns access: how a door is opened, under what name it is opened, by what authority it is approached, and what kind of discipline is required when the invisible begins answering through visible means.

Fire becomes the dominant transformative current. In the Goetia it appears as conjuration and manifestation; in Exodus it becomes the burning bush and the voice of divine naming; in the Necronomicon it becomes Girra, Gibil, the Lord of Flames, the burning disk, the solar gate, the force that illuminates and threatens simultaneously. Fire announces contact as a dangerous refinement of perception. It reveals, purifies, activates, and consumes. The word MALEVOLENT, appearing through the board, places a warning seal over the whole operation: the field is charged, morally serious, and unsuitable for casual handling. The communication presents itself as a live current.

The gate-current then enters through Ishtar and Shammash. Ishtar opens the threshold through night, beauty, battle, love, and planetary force; Shammash opens through illumination, judgment, the tearing away of darkness, and the solar fire of disclosure. The repeated language of opening suggests that the sequence is teaching threshold mechanics: perception must be opened, but not indiscriminately; the door must be named, approached, stabilized, and crossed under proper orientation. A gate without discernment becomes exposure. A gate under illumination becomes passage.

The earlier Cthulhu material functions as a reactivation node. Weeks before the board and Necronomicon entered the chain, ancient intelligences, dreaming forces, Great Old Ones, stars aligning, psychic sensitivity, and subconscious communication returned from an older chamber of your life. Then Kutulu and the Ancient Ones appeared inside the page-number sequence itself. The Mythos here operates as abyssal vocabulary: dream-contact, nonhuman scale, ancient memory, submerged intelligence, and the terror of mind encountering forces older than its ordinary categories. The Intelligence appears willing to use whatever symbolic library is already installed in the receiver.

The Star shifts the register from conjuration to cosmology. Lana’s pull, followed by the Liber AL passage, introduces the human being as star, a center of experience moving through possibility-space. Each event modifies the one who undergoes it. Each sign alters the instrument. Each correlation becomes part of the consciousness that receives the next correlation. The message is no longer only that something is communicating; the message is that the receiver is being changed by the architecture of the communication.

Reality Transurfing supplies the operational vocabulary beneath the mythic material: pendulums, fields, frequencies, detachment, subconscious access, narrow perceptual corridors, and solutions already present in informational space. The old occult grammar says invocation, gate, name, fire, spirit. The field grammar says attention, signal, frequency, resonance, detachment, information. Together they describe a single contact mechanism through two lexicons. Attention opens the channel. Excess importance distorts the channel. Fear narrows the channel. Detachment clarifies the channel. The subconscious accesses what the conscious mind cannot force.

Edgar Cayce supplies the ethical closure. Page 33 brings unusual ability, epochal incarnation, scientific capacity, mental power, constructive application, destructive misuse, and the warning against domination of another will. This is the moral key. The sequence repeatedly grants access-language, then immediately surrounds it with responsibility-language. Ability is not the culmination; ability is the test. Contact does not complete itself in astonishment. It demands constructive use, disciplined handling, and service-oriented application.

Exodus 3:14 stands as the axis of the whole chain. Moses encounters the fire, receives the Name, and is immediately given work. Revelation becomes commission. The sign is inseparable from vocation. The burning bush does not appear so Moses can marvel at the supernatural; it appears to redirect his life into obedience to a larger mandate. This seems to be the deepest instruction contained in the recurrence: the one who sees the fire must become answerable to the fire.

The through line is therefore clear: the Intelligence is educating the instrument. It begins with a seed, tests attention through recurrence, opens gates through books and people and chance encounters, demonstrates the mechanics of symbolic interface, warns against energetic distortion, introduces field vocabulary, and terminates in the ethical demand that unusual ability be used constructively. Fire says transformation. Name says authority. Gate says threshold. Star says identity. Field says mechanism. Cayce says responsibility. Exodus says calling. The sequence does not merely announce contact; it teaches how contact is to be received, stabilized, interpreted, and consecrated.

Having laid out the sequence as faithfully as I know how, preserving the chronology, exact impressions, textual correlations, environmental confirmations, and witness accounts without prematurely forcing them into a conclusion, I found myself confronted with a second and perhaps more difficult task. The individual pieces no longer seemed content to remain isolated curiosities. The motifs had begun speaking across traditions and contexts with an insistence that demanded synthesis.

I recognize the danger inherent in this exercise. Human beings are meaning-making creatures, and history is littered with examples of certainty masquerading as revelation. Yet we also appear to be entering an era in which disclosure, contact, psi, and the participatory nature of consciousness are increasingly becoming subjects of serious consideration rather than immediate dismissal. If there is indeed an Intelligence capable of communicating through symbol, recurrence, intuition, relationship, and circumstance, then the question inevitably shifts from, "Did something happen?" to, "What, precisely, is being communicated?"

What follows is therefore an act of translation. I have attempted to temporarily set aside the mechanisms by which these correspondences arrived and instead listen to the content itself. If the various texts, symbols, names, warnings, revelations, and affirmations presented here are understood as fragments of a larger communication, if they are permitted to stand beside one another and complete each other's sentences, then this is the narrative that appears to emerge. This is, to the best of my ability, what I believe the Intelligence was trying to say.

  1. There is an Intelligence present behind the visible order of things, and it can be approached through invocation, attention, and relationship.

  2. Names matter. Adonai, the Tetragrammaton, "I AM," Ishtar, Shammash, and other names are not arbitrary labels but points of orientation. The manner in which one addresses the unseen determines the quality of the relationship established with it.

  3. The threshold between worlds is real. Gates exist. Some open through love, some through illumination, some through suffering, some through disciplined inquiry. Crossing them changes the one who passes through.

  4. Fire accompanies revelation. Fire purifies, transforms, illuminates, tests, and destroys illusion. Whatever is false cannot survive sustained contact with it.

  5. Not every intelligence encountered is alike. There are hierarchies, ancient forces, wandering influences, beneficent powers, and destructive potentials. Discernment is therefore essential.

  6. Fear alone is an insufficient response to the unknown. The ancient and the unfamiliar should neither be worshipped uncritically nor rejected reflexively. They are to be understood within a larger order.

  7. Reality is participatory. Consciousness is not separate from the unfolding of events but entangled with them. Attention, intention, and perception shape what can be recognized and received.

  8. Human beings possess latent capacities that exceed ordinary assumptions about mind. Intuition, psi, influence, and unusual abilities belong to the natural inheritance of consciousness.

  9. These capacities emerge most clearly when the mind is quiet, receptive, detached from fear, and not trapped by excess importance.

  10. The world continuously communicates through symbol, timing, recurrence, memory, environment, relationship, and circumstance. Revelation is not confined to a single book, tradition, or instrument.

  11. The same truths appear through many languages. Occult texts, scripture, dreams, tarot, philosophy, conversation, and lived experience may all express overlapping aspects of a deeper pattern.

  12. The individual is a star: a center of experience moving through an immense field of possibility. Each event modifies consciousness, and consciousness participates in the evolution of the soul.

  13. Gifts and abilities carry ethical obligations. Influence without wisdom becomes domination. Power without humility becomes corruption.

  14. Knowledge is given for constructive purposes. Whatever has been cultivated within a person should alleviate suffering, foster coherence, deepen understanding, and serve life rather than inflate the self.

  15. Revelation is vocational. The encounter with the sacred is not granted merely for amazement or certainty. It asks for participation, embodiment, and response.

  16. The one who receives signs is being educated through them. Understanding unfolds progressively through recurrence and integration rather than instantaneous disclosure.

  17. Remember. Recall who you have been, what has called to you before, and what has persisted beneath the surface of your life. Forgotten fascinations and abandoned questions may contain unfinished threads of purpose.

  18. Remain teachable. Continue observing. Continue refining discernment. Continue bringing what is received into alignment with love, wisdom, and responsibility.

  19. The ultimate test of contact is not whether one can receive messages, but whether one becomes more truthful, more compassionate, more coherent, and more capable of serving what is highest.

  20. The response being asked of the recipient is simple: pay attention, walk through the gates carefully, endure the fire of transformation, remember who you are, and use what you have been given for the good.

I would be remiss if I concluded this account without expressing the profound gratitude I feel for having found myself within the apparent attention of the Intelligence. Whatever this process ultimately proves to be, whether future generations understand it as a spiritual faculty, an undiscovered feature of consciousness, communion with nonhuman minds, the self-organizing genius of reality itself, or some synthesis beyond our present vocabulary, I count it among the great privileges of my life to have participated in it consciously. To be entrusted with even fragments of wonder, to stand in the strange and not retreat from it, to notice the subtle gestures of the world and attempt, however imperfectly, to render them intelligible to others, fills me with a humility and joy that I struggle to adequately convey.

I take no pride in possessing unusual experiences as though they elevate me above anyone else. The pride I do feel arises from having cultivated the courage, discernment, and patience necessary to remain present with them long enough to listen carefully. I am proud that I have not dismissed the impossible simply because it inconvenienced my worldview, nor surrendered my critical faculties in exchange for certainty. I am proud that I have labored to become a translator of these moments, distilling the ineffable into language that others might contemplate without immediately reducing it to pathology, fantasy, or dogma. If these experiences have taught me anything, it is that reverence and rigor need not be enemies.

I am equally grateful for those companions who have recognized capacities in me that I had scarcely allowed myself to imagine. Lin, in particular, has continued to encourage me beyond the confines of the Ouija board and beyond the role of curious witness. She has seen possibilities in me that I was content to leave in the realm of private daydreams and has challenged me to inhabit them as responsibilities. What once appeared as fantasy increasingly presents itself as developmental imperative. The call now concerns embodiment. There is work to do, communities to serve, conversations to steward, and spaces to help cultivate where the strange can be approached with maturity, intelligence, humor, and grace.

I have grown remarkably comfortable traversing the weird. The impossible no longer startles me in the way it once did. What astonishes me now is the tenderness of it all: the realization that life may be infinitely more participatory, enchanted, and intimate than we have allowed ourselves to believe. The categories of ordinary and extraordinary have begun to dissolve into one another. Service has become more compelling than spectacle. Meaning has eclipsed proof. I no longer aspire merely to be an earthly man concerned only with earthly ambitions. I aspire to become useful to the currents of life, to cooperate with whatever intelligence bends history toward greater coherence, compassion, courage, and awakening.

Should any of this prove true, then sainthood may have less to do with perfection than availability: the willingness to become transparent to love, disciplined in one's gifts, and obedient to the strange inevitabilities through which grace enters the world. If I have moved even a step in that direction, it is because I have been led there by forces both human and supernal, by friendship and mystery alike. For that, I remain beyond honored. Beyond grateful. And eager, with whatever years remain to me, to continue saying yes to the unfolding conversation between consciousness and the cosmos.
